10 Irish Women Wedding Vendors We Love

There are so many amazing female wedding vendors on this tiny island, so this post was absolute agony to put together. We’ll have to follow-up with the rest of the women that work wedding miracles ASAP. For now, here’s 10 incredible Irish women wedding vendors.

Vegan Bakery Buttercream Dream, Dublin

Lauren set up vegan bakery Buttercream Dream when she found that indulgent vegan cakes and treats were few and far between in Ireland. She’s an absolute sweetheart and we can vouch for the flavour of her creations – they’re delicious. If you’re considering treating your guests to a vegan cake, go for it. We are crazy for the sweet stuff and couldn’t tell the difference between these and traditional bakes.

Bridal Makeup Artist Glamour By Dawn, Kilkenny

We’ve had the pleasure of seeing Dawn’s work on a few different faces and it’s always stunning. We’re all about fresh, glowing skin and she has it down to a fine art. It’s elevated, modern bridal makeup, perfected.

Vanity Fair Boutique, Kildare

We’re tipping our cap to Nessa of Vanity Fair Boutique in Newbridge because she absolutely kills it on social media.

The Vanity Fair Instagram page features women of all different ages and dress sizes as they try on current stock. You get to see what dresses look like on a body like yours, and the clothes are to die for. The shop is renowned for mother-of-the-bride styles, but there are loads of wedding guest and cool bridesmaid looks too.

Cut Social, Dublin

Cut Social is our local spot, so we’ve seen it grow and grow under the hand of Katrina Kelly. There’s such a lovely, friendly atmosphere in the salon (and it’s a ride of a salon), plus any member of the team we’ve booked in with has been talented, helpful and super creative.

When we’re chatting about bridal hair in the real world, Katrina Kelly and her team always come up. Literally – always. You know it’s the truth when people are saying good things behind your back.

Bride to Bee, Cavan

Aoife runs this online store, selling gorgeous wedding bits and bobs. Our pick of the pack is The Sweetbee Box, a dotey little velvet ring holder – perfect for pictures on the morning of the wedding.

Remain in Light, Donegal

Mairéad of Remain in Light is one of the coolest wedding photographers around. She has such a gorgeous, distinct aesthetic and editing style – you can see some of her work as you scroll through this post but her portfolio is worth a look too.

Livia Figueiredo, Dublin

The other half of the images in this post are by Dublin-based photographer Livia Figueiredo. She’s brilliant at capturing candid moments and has an eye for rich, moody tones. Livia’s an absolute ray of sunshine on Insta Stories – exactly the kind of presence you want on your wedding day.

Lily Pink Bakery, Belfast

Claire runs Lily Pink Bakery in South Belfast. We came across the business on Instagram, where Claire’s brightly-coloured buttercream cakes are very popular. If you’re up north and fancy a dessert that looks cooler than your average wedding cake, definitely check her out – and then send us a slice of red velvet.

Linda Byrne Live Wedding Illustrations, Kildare

Linda creates custom sketches of your wedding guests in just a few minutes, then gifts them their portrait to take home. There aren’t many artists in Ireland doing this kind of work, so this gal is a bit of a trailblazer. We love how her illustrations look – girly, bright and, of course, flattering. A total guest-pleaser.

Curvy Chic Bridal, Belfast

Rebecca Bryson is a bridal makeup artist and the owner of Curvy Chic in Belfast. It’s the largest plus-size wedding dress shop in the UK and Ireland, which is an achievement itself. We’re also crushing on Rebecca because she’s so positive and helpful on social media – the vendor of dreams!
